Cirque du Soleil Launches 3D Photo Ad Campaign

Cirque du Soleil and its agency PMG launched a 3D Photo Ad campaign in partnership with OmniVirt to drive ticket sales for its latest theatrical masterpiece, Amaluna. 

The Amaluna 3D banner adds depth and perspective, activated by moving the phone or scrolling through a webpage.

Cirque du Soleil converted its existing 2D assets into 3D by using a depth map, an overlay containing the CTA, and OmniVirt’s proprietary 3D ad rendering technology: 

The campaign saw 2.5X CTR and and 2.4X conversions relative to 2D control ads by slotting 3D ads into their existing media buy. 

OmniVirt’s 3D Photo Banner platform provides marketers with the ability to convert their existing banners into 3D Photo Banners. The ads can be served using DSPs like DV360, The Trade Desk, Centro’s Basis, MediaMath, and more. 

Cirque du Soleil joins brands like Oculus, Visit Florida, Paramount Pictures, Little Caesar’s, and more in driving ROAS with 3D Photo Ads.
